As I've uploaded a load of files at the same time, here is one file (duplicated) with all the details. First, here's a list of file names and sizes: -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 13032 Oct 3 17:53 BackIcon -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 74551 Oct 3 17:53 CLIGuard -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 108024 Oct 3 17:53 Config+ -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 25499 Oct 3 17:53 HourExt -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 20971 Oct 3 17:53 MoreIBar -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 13507 Oct 3 17:53 MultiObey -rw-r--r-- 1 926286ki 7142 Oct 3 17:53 ShortHelp -rw-r----- 1 926286ki 135455 Nov 14 12:44 SmartQuotes120b Here's a list of short descriptions (assume Short: prefixes them all) BackIcon: adds functionality to the Back Icon gadget. CLIGuard: desktop interface to modules and *Help, pseudo-hypertext links. Configure+: extends !Configure to cope with new configure options. HourExt: turns the hourglass on when a task stops multitasking. MoreIBar: gives you a second scrollable icon bar for easy access to drives. MultiObey: multi-tasks Obey files, for e.g. Boot sequences and backups. ShortHelp: BASIC routines to compress *Help text in modules. SmartQuotes120b: Intercepts key presses to provide correct quotes, dashes etc. Here come the long descriptions: BackIcon - allows you to move windows up and down the window stack as well as just sending them to the back. CLIGuard - gives you a list of modules, you can do the usual things with them (unplug, reinit etc.), also get *Help and do various commands. This may still be a bit flaky. Configure+ - attaches itself to !Configure, gives you four more icons in the main window, where you can set more options (including third party options). HourExt - turns the hourglass on when a task is not multitasking. Useful for boot sequences, less useful when you're e.g. grabbing a sprite from the screen ;). MoreIBar - a response to the "Scrolling the icon bar faster" discussion on comp.sys.acorn, this provides a secondary, vertical icon bar. Mouse clicks work, menus are opened at a sensible height, file drags from the Filer work (but not from applications), interactive help works. May also be a bit flaky. MultiObey - multitasks Obey files, shows you the current line and the position in the file as you go along. Good for Boot sequences. ShortHelp - a set of library routines for people programming modules in BASIC, that allow you to crunch *Help messages using OS_PrettyPrint (and thus making the module smaller). SmartQuotes120b - intercepts key presses, providing typographically correct quotes, dashes, ligatures as well as an easy way to type accents, fractions and other strange characters. Also correct first-letter capitalisation, e.g. "THe WRong THing". They should all go in the utils directory. They're also on hensa and stuttgart in case anything goes wrong. Sam Kington
